Fresh fruit and veggies are in abundance in the summer and fall, and many people have home gardens which produce lots of great food. This is a great way to help the local community, especially those that are unable to purchase or grow their own fresh food. If you end up with a few extra tomatoes, zucchini, melons, citrus, or any other fruit/veggie this season – consider donating to the Orangevale Food Bank. If you’d like us to even come out and pick the fruit for you, we’d be glad to coordinate that (most likely on a Wednesday).
Contact us to arrange for a drop-off, pick up, or special date to help harvest the bounty.
